Ducati 1299R Panigale (2016-17)

The Ducati 1299R Panigale motorcycle was produced from 2016 to 2017, featuring a four-stroke, 90-degree L twin-cylinder, DOHC, desmodromic 4 valve-per-cylinder engine with a 1198cc capacity and a compression ratio of 13.2:1. The engine has Mitsubishi EFI, twin injectors per cylinder, full ride-by-wire elliptical throttle bodies, and a 2-1-2 titanium exhaust system with stainless steel headers, catalytic converter and 2 lambda probes. The motorcycle has a top power of 195 hp at 10750 rpm and a maximum torque of 136 Nm / 13.9 kgf-m / 100.5 lb-ft at 10250 rpm, with a six-speed transmission and Ducati Quick Shift. The frame is a monocoque aluminum, and the front suspension is an ~Ahlins NIX30, 43mm fully adjustable USD fork with TiN treatment, while the rear suspension is a fully adjustable ~Ahlins TTX36 unit, with electronic compression and rebound damping adjustment. The front brakes are 2 x 330 mm Semi-floating discs, radially mounted Brembo Monobloc EVO M50 4-piston calipers with cornering ABS Bosch 9.1 MP, and the rear brake is a single 245 mm disc. The motorcycle has a wheelbase of 1442 mm, seat height of 830 mm, and a dry weight of 162 kg. The instrumentation is a digital unit with TFT colour display, and it has a display lay-out: ROAD/TRACK (integrated with Riding Modes). Display backlight colours: DAY/NIGHT (manual or auto selection). Warning lights: oil pressure, neutral, EOBD, turn signals, fuel reserve, high-beam, ABS (if OEM), over rev, DTC intervention, immobilizer (in Key-off). DES control (Electronic Suspension). Light control: automatic shutdown while engine start, automatic shutdown after 60s from key-on without engine ignition. All functions are integrated and managed by left and right handlebar switches.
