Ducati 1299 Panigale (2017)

The Ducati 1299 Panigale is a four-stroke motorcycle with a 90-degree L-twin cylinder, DOHC, and desmodromic 4 valve per cylinder. The capacity of the engine is 1285 cc with a bore of 116 mm and a stroke of 60.8 mm. The cooling system is liquid-cooled, and the compression ratio is 12.6:1. The lubrication is wet sump, and the induction system is Mitsubishi EFI, twin injectors per cylinder, and full ride-by-wire elliptical throttle bodies. The motorcycle has a 2-1-2 titanium system with catalytic converter and 2 lambda probes.

The ignition system is digital CDI, and the motorcycle has an electric start. The frame of the motorcycle is a monocoque aluminum, and the front suspension is a Marzocchi 50 mm pressurised and fully adjustable USD fork with hard anodized aluminium lightweight slider. The rear suspension is a fully adjustable Sachs unit with adjustable linkage: progressive flat, aluminium single-sided swingarm. The front brakes are 2 x 330 mm semi-floating discs, radially mounted Brembo Monobloc EVO M50 4-piston calipers with cornering ABS Bosch 9.1 MP. The rear brake is a single 245 mm disc 2 piston caliper with cornering ABS.

The motorcycle has a front tire of 120/70 ZR17 Pirelli Diablo Supercorsa SP and a rear tire of 200/55 ZR17 Pirelli Diablo Supercorsa SP. The front wheel is a 3-Y spoke light alloy 3.50″ x 17″, and the rear wheel is a 3-Y spoke light alloy 6.00″ x 17″. The motorcycle has a rake of 24 degrees and a trail of 96 mm / 3.78 in. The length of the motorcycle is 2060 mm / 81.1 in, the height is 1130 mm / 44.1 in, and the wheelbase is 1437 mm / 56.57 in.
