The Ducati 125 TV Testone was a small motorcycle produced between 1962 and 1968. It had a four stroke single-cylinder engine with a displacement of 124.4cc and a maximum power of 4.8 kW at 6500 rpm. The engine was equipped with an OHC and bevel gear-driven system, and was cooled by an air-cooling system. The lubrication was provided by a forced oil sump, while the induction was managed by Dell’Orto UB18BS or ME18BS carburetor. The battery and coil 6V 40W generator ignition was used with the Marelli CW225A spark plug. It had a four-speed transmission with a wet multi-plate clutch and chain final drive. The frame was a twin tubular downpipe cradle with hydraulically damped telescopic forks at the front and a swingarm with dual shocks at the rear. There were drum brakes, each measuring 123mm, in the front and rear. The front and rear tyres were both sized at 2.75 – 16, and the seat height measured approximately 790mm or 31.1 inches.
