Ducati 125 Scrambler (1971-72)

The Ducati 125 Scrambler was a motorcycle produced between 1971-72, featuring a four-stroke, single-cylinder, OHC, bevel gear driven engine with a capacity of 124.4 cc / 7.6 cu in. The bore x stroke was 55.2 x 52 mm and the compression ratio was 8.5:1. Cooling was air-cooled, and the bike used an Amal 375/20 carburetor with coil ignition and a 6V, 11Ah battery. The bike had a kick start and could produce a maximum power of 7.3 kW / 10 hp at 7000 rpm. The clutch was wet, multi-disc, and the primary drive ratio was 3.000:1. The transmission was a 5-speed, and the final drive was through a chain with a final drive ratio of 3.714:1. The bike’s frame was a single cradle, tubular steel design, with hydraulically damped telescopic fork, Marzocchi front suspension and a swingarm, dual shocks, 3-way adjustable rear suspension.
