The Ducati 1199S Panigale motorcycle model for 2014 has a four-stroke, 90-degree L twin-cylinder engine with DOHC, desmodromic four valves per cylinder. The double disc front breaks 330 mm and single disc rear break 245 mm come equipped with radially mounted Brembo Monobloc M50 4-piston calipers, with ABS optional +2.5kg (+5.5lb). The bike runs on 120/70 ZR17 Pirelli Diablo Supercorsa SP front tires and 200/55 ZR14 Pirelli Diablo Supercorsa SP rear tires, with a rake of 24.5 degrees and trail of 100 mm/3.9 in. The bike measures 1100mm/43.31in in height, 2075mm/81.69in in length, and has a wheelbase of 1437mm/56.6in. Dry weight is 164 kg/361.5 lbs, fuel capacity is 17L/4.5 US gal/3.7 Imp gal, and consumption average is 5.95 L/100 km/16.8 km/l/39.5 US mpg/47.5 Imp mpg. The bike can reach a standing 1/4 mile of 10.8 sec/227.6 km/h/141.4 mph, standing mile of 27 sec/283 km/h/176 mph, and top speed of 287 km/h/178 mph.
