The Can-Am Spyder RS Roadster motorcycle was produced by BRP in 2012-13. It features a BRP-Rotax four-stroke V-Twin engine with a capacity of 998cc/61cu-in, providing a maximum power of 106hp/79kW at 8500rpm, and a maximum torque of 77lb-ft/104.3Nm at 6250rpm. The engine is liquid-cooled, has multi-point EFI with 57mm diameter throttle bodies, and uses an electronic ignition with a dual output coil. The vehicle has a Sequential Manual 5-Speed (SM5) transmission with transmission-based reverse and a final drive via a belt.
