Buell RR1000R (1986-88)

The Buell RR1000R motorcycle was produced from 1986 to 1988 and features a V-twin, 4-stroke, OHV engine with a capacity of 997 cc. It has an air-cooled cooling system and uses a Buell Works exhaust system with 2 Mikuni flat side carburetors for induction. The motorcycle has a maximum power output of 70.1 kW (94 hp) at 5600 rpm and a top speed of 225 km/h (140 mph).

The clutch used is an XR clutch and the final drive is a chain. The front suspension can be either Marzocci M1R or WP upside-down forks, while the rear suspension is a single shock located under the engine. The front brakes consist of 2 floating discs with 4-piston brake calipers, and the rear brake has a floating vented disc with a diameter of approximately 220 mm.

The motorcycle uses Dymag magnesium ultra-light Modular Hub Concept wheels with a front rim size of 3.50 x 16″ and a rear rim size of 4.50 x 16″. The front tyre is a 130/60-16″ Pirelli radial and the rear tyre is a 160/60-16″ Pirelli radial. The rake of the motorcycle is 25 degrees and the trail is 117 mm (4.6″). It has a wheelbase of 1360 mm (53.5″) and a dry weight of 174 kg (374 lbs).

The fuel capacity of the motorcycle is 22.7 L (6 US gal). The Buell RR1000R is a high-performance motorcycle with advanced features and design, and is capable of achieving impressive speeds on the road.
