BMW G 650X (2007)

BMW G 650X is a 2007 model motorcycle that comes with three different versions: the Xchallenge, Xcountry, and Xmoto. The overall design concept of this bike is to provide an excellent balance between on-road and off-road capabilities. It has a liquid-cooled, single-cylinder engine with four-valves that is capable of producing up to 53 horsepower at 7,000 RPM. This engine is connected to a five-speed transmission gearbox that helps the bike to provide smooth power delivery in different terrains. Additionally, this bike features a belt-driven final drive system that is simple, quiet, and requires less maintenance compared to a chain-driven system.

The Xchallenge is the most off-road specific among the three. It is equipped with long travel suspension at both the front and rear, wide handlebars, and a skid plate to protect the engine. The Xcountry is geared more towards long-distance rides with a taller windscreen and a less aggressive suspension setup while still maintaining off-road capabilities. The Xmoto is the most street-oriented among the three. It features sportier suspension, wheels, and brakes, and has a lower seat height. However, it can still perform admirably off-road thanks to its off-road tires and longer-travel suspension compared to most street-oriented motorcycles.

Other notable features of the BMW G 650X include a digital instrument display, optional ABS brakes, and a comfortable riding position for both the rider and the passenger. Its fuel tank capacity of 10.5 liters provides decent fuel range for a motorcycle of this size. Overall, the BMW G 650X is an impressive dual-sport motorcycle that serves different purposes for different riders. It can provide a thrilling off-road experience as well as being comfortable and practical for long-distance road trips.
