The Benelli 304 motorcycle was produced from 1984 to 1988 and featured a four-stroke transverse four-cylinder engine with a capacity of 231.4cc. The engine had two valves per cylinder, a compression ratio of 10.5:1, and was air-cooled with four Dell’Orto PHBG 18 B carburetors. The ignition was coil, distributor and the starting was electric, with an optional kick start. The max power of the bike was 27.8 hp at 10500 rpm and max torque was 18.8 Nm at 9000 rpm. The fuel capacity was 11 liters or 2.9 US gallons. The overall dimensions included a length of 1940 mm or 76.4 in, a width of 710 mm or 28.0 in, and a height of 950 mm or 37.4 in with a wheelbase of 1270 mm or 50.0 in.
