The Bajaj XCD 125 DTS-Si motorcycle was produced from 2008 to 2010. It has a four-stroke, single cylinder, SOHC, 2 valve engine with a capacity of 124.5 cc. The compression system is 9.5:1 and it is air/oil cooled with a wet sump, forced lubrication system. The bike has a side draft carburetor with a UCSL Mikuni VM16 and microprocessor controlled digital CDI ignition. The battery is 12 volts and 5 amps and it has both electric and kick start. The bike has a wet, multiplate clutch and a 4-speed, constant mesh transmission with a chain final drive. The frame is a single down tube with the engine as the stress member. The bike has drum brakes with the front brakes being 130mm and rear brakes being 130mm. It has aluminium alloy, 6-spoke wheels with a 2.75-17 front wheel and a 3.00-17 rear wheel. The bike weighs 112kg and has a fuel capacity of 8L with a fuel reserve of 1.8L, and can go up to 90km/h. The available colors were black, red, silver, and blue.
