Aprilia Tuono V4 R APRC (2013)

The 2013 Aprilia Tuono V4 R APRC motorcycle has a liquid-cooled, longitudinal four-stroke, 65-degree V-four engine with a capacity of 998.9cc. It has a compression ratio of 13.0:1 and an airbox with front dynamic air intakes as well as four Weber-Marelli 48mm throttle bodies with four injectors and the latest generation Ride-by-Wire engine management. The bike offers a choice of three different engine maps, T (Track), S (Sport), and R (Road), which are selectable by the rider while in motion. The ignition system is a Magneti Marelli digital electronic integrated with the engine control system, with one spark plug per cylinder and stick-coil type coils. The bike features a lubrication system with oil radiator and two oil pumps (lubrication and cooling) and an APRC System (Aprilia Performance Ride Control) that includes Traction Control (aTC), Wheelie Control (aWC), and Launch Control (aLC), all of which can be configured and deactivated independently. The bike’s frame is aluminum dual-beam with pressed and cast sheet elements, and it has a Sachs steering damper. Its front suspension is a Sachs upside-down one by one fork and the rear suspension is a double-braced aluminum swingarm. Front brakes consist of two 320mm floating stainless steel discs with Brembo monobloc radial callipers, while the rear brake has a single 220mm diameter disc with a Brembo floating calliper. ABS is Bosch 9MP, adjustable on 3 maps, featuring RLM strategy and disconnectable. The bike has a dry weight of 183kg and a fuel capacity of 17 liters.
