The Aprilia Tuareg 600 Wind was a motorcycle produced from 1988 to 1989. It had a single-cylinder, air-cooled, four-stroke engine with a capacity of 562cc and a compression ratio of 9.4:1. The bike was equipped with a ~A35mm Dell’Orto carburetor and Nipponese electronic ignition. It had an electric starter and produced a maximum power of 34 kW (46 hp) at 7,100 rpm and a maximum torque of 58 Nm at 5,800 rpm. The bike featured a six-speed transmission and a chain final drive. The front suspension consisted of ~A40 mm telescopic forks with 210 mm of travel, while the rear suspension was a monoshock with adjustable preload and 220 mm of travel. Braking was handled by a single ~A300 mm disc with a two-piston caliper on the front and a single ~A220 mm disc on the rear. The bike had a front tire size of 90/90-21 and a rear tire size of 130/80-18.
