The Alfer VR 2000 Supermotard motorcycle was manufactured in 2003 and is equipped with a two-stroke, single-cylinder engine with a capacity of 249 cc. It has a liquid-cooled cooling system, low-boy Fresco exhaust with an aluminum silencer, and Mikuni TM 38 induction. The ignition is SEM 12V, 160W AV and the electric starting system is fitted in the motorcycle. The bike has six-speed transmission with a chain final drive. The Alfer VR 2000 Supermotard has a hardened CrMo-e steel frame with a bolt-on aluminum rear section. It has Marzocchi Magnum 50 front suspension with 290 mm/11.4 in wheel travel and Ohlins linkless position-sensitive damping single shock, external compression, and rebound damping adjustment at the rear with 300 mm/11.8 mm wheel travel. The bike uses light alloy, anodized, laced spokes wheels with a wheelbase of 1480 mm/58.3 in, and 350 mm/13.8 in of ground clearance. The seat height is at 905 mm/35.6 in high, and it weighs around 103 kg/227 kg with 9.5 Litres/2.5 US gal of fuel capacity. The brakes are single 320mm discs with four-piston calipers in the front while the rear has single 220mm discs with one-piston caliper. The tire sizes are 110/70-17 in the front and 150/70-17 in the rear.
