Ducati 750 Sport (1987-88)
The Ducati 750 Sport motorcycle was manufactured from 1987-88 and featured a four-stroke, 90-degree L twin cylinder engine with desmodromic four valves per cylinder and a capacity of 748cc. The engine was air-cooled and had a compression ratio of 10:1. Induction was provided by a Weber 44DCNF 113 and the ignition was Kokusan electronic. The bike had a dry, multi-plate clutch and a five-speed transmission with a final drive ratio of 2.533:1. The front suspension consisted of a 40mm Marzocchi M1BB telescopic fork while the rear suspension was a Marzocchi PBS1R monoshock with a cantilever swingarm. The front brakes were dual 280mm discs with two-piston calipers and the rear brake was a single 270mm disc with a two-piston caliper. The bike had a fuel capacity of 17 liters and a dry weight of 180kg, with a maximum power output of 72hp at 8500rpm and a maximum torque of 70Nm at 6500rpm.
