Ducati 125 Sport (1957-60)

The Ducati 125 Sport is a motorcycle model produced from 1957 to 1960. It comes with a four-stroke, single-cylinder, OHC engine with a 124.4 cc capacity and a 8.0:1 compression ratio. The bike uses an air-cooled cooling system and forced oil sump lubrication system. It is equipped with a Dell’Orto UB20BS carburetor and Marelli CW260N spark plug. The ignition is powered by a battery and coil with a 6V 40W generator. The motorcycle is started manually through a kick start. The bike has a maximum power output of 7.5 kW / 10 hp at 8500 rpm. The transmission is a 4-speed with a wet, multi-plate clutch and a primary drive ratio of 3.00:1. The motorcycle is chain driven and has a final drive ratio of 2.750:1. In terms of suspension, the bike has hydraulically damped telescopic forks by Marzocci in the front and a swingarm with dual shocks that are three-way adjustable in the rear. The brakes are drum brakes on both the front and rear wheels. The front and rear tires are CEAT and measure 2.50-17 and 2.75-17 respectively. The bike has a length of 1910 mm, width of 580 mm, height of 920 mm, and a wheelbase of 1320 mm. It weighs 100.5 kg without fuel and has a fuel capacity of 16 L with a top speed of 112 km/h.
