Zero S ZF6 (2012)

The Zero S ZF6 motorcycle was manufactured in 2012 and features a high efficiency double stator axial flux permanent magnet brushless motor with an integrated forced air cooling system. The power system is a patented Li-Ion intelligent power pack, with a maximum capacity of 6.0kWh and a nominal capacity of 5.3kWh. The estimated pack life to 80% in a city is 205,000 miles (330,000km) with a charger input of standard 110V or 220V. The range is 76 miles (122km) in the city and 43 miles (69km) when commuting at 70mph on a highway. The motorcycle has a clutchless one-speed transmission with a final drive of 132T/28T, Poly Chain GT Carbon belt. The aircraft ultralight aluminum frame features 38mm inverted forks with adjustable compression and rebound damping and 140mm/5.5in front wheel travel, as well as a direct-link shock with adjustable spring preload, compression, and rebound damping providing 147mm/5.9in rear wheel travel. The front and rear brakes are single discs measuring 310mm and 220mm, respectively, and the front and rear wheel sizes are 17 inches with tire dimensions of 100/80-17 and 130/90-17. The motorcycle has a 23.1 degree rake and 76mm/3.0in trail with a wheelbase of 1438mm/56.6in and a seat height of 841mm/33.1in (790 mm/31.1 in on the low seat height model). The weight of the motorcycle is 135kg/297lbs, with a carrying capacity of 136kg/300lbs. It has a top speed of 142km/h/88mph (sustained) or 121 km/h/75mph.
