The Zero S Street motorcycle was manufactured in 2011 and features a high efficiency, forced air cooled, DC, axial flux, permanent magnet motor with a maximum capacity of 4.4 kWh and nominal capacity of 3.9 kWh. It can be charged with either a 110V or 220V input, and has an estimated pack life of 70,000 miles to 80% capacity. Charging time is four hours for a standard charge, but with the quick charge option it takes 2.3 hours to reach 100% charge, or two hours to reach 90+% charge. The maximum range for the motorcycle is 58 miles, while the EPA UDDS range is 43 miles. The front brake is a single 310mm disc with a two-piston caliper, while the rear brake is a single 220mm disc with a one-piston caliper. The front and rear tires are 110/70-17 and 130/70-17, respectively. The motorcycle has a top speed of 108km/h or 67mph with a weight of 135 kg/297 lbs and carrying capacity of 136 kg/300 lbs. The rake is 22.7 degrees, the trail is 71mm/2.8in, the wheelbase is 1410mm/55.5in, and the seat height is 832mm/32.8in (low seat height of 781mm/30.8in).
