Yamaha XJ600S Diversion (1992-97)

The Yamaha XJ 600S Diversion is a four-stroke, transverse four-cylinder motorcycle with a capacity of 599 cc. The engine has a compression ratio of 10:1 and uses a wet sump lubrication system. Induction is provided by four 28mm Mikuni BDS28 downdraft carburetors, and ignition is through a transistor. The bike has a maximum power output of 61 hp / 45 kW @ 8,500 rpm, with a maximum power output at the rear tire of 51.4 hp at 8,400 rpm. The maximum torque is 33.9 lb-ft / 4.7 kgf-m @ 7,000 rpm.
