Yamaha WR450F (2013-14)

The Yamaha WR450F (2013-14) is a four-stroke, single-cylinder, DOHC, 5-valve motorcycle with a capacity of 449cc. It has a liquid-cooled system, a compression ratio of 12.3:1, and a dry sump lubrication. The exhaust is single, upswept, and under seat, while the induction is through a 39mm Keihin FCR flat-slide throttle position sensor. The bike has both electric and kick start, with a maximum power of 58hp/42.3kW at 9000rpm, and a maximum torque of 5.0 kgf-m/36.2 ft-lb @7500 rpm. The clutch is wet and multi-disc, and it has a 5-speed constant mesh transmission. Its final drive is through a chain. The bike is fitted with an aluminium bilateral beam frame, a 48mm upside-down telescopic fork for front suspension which has front wheel travel of 300mm/11.8in, and a swingarm, link suspension, mono shock for rear suspension which has rear wheel travel of 305mm/12.0in. The front and rear brakes are single 250 mm disc 4-piston caliper and single 245 mm disc 2-piston caliper, respectively. The aluminium alloy wheels have laced spokes, and the front and rear tyres are 80/100-21 51P and 120/90-18 65P, respectively. The bike weighs 122kg/268lbs when wet and has a fuel capacity of 7.2 litres/1.9 US gal. Its dimensions are 2315mm/91.1in in length, 825mm/32.5in in width, 1275mm/50.2in in height, and a wheelbase of 1475mm/58.1in. The bike has a ground clearance of 335mm/13.2in and a seat height of 960mm/37.8in.
