Yamaha DT 125 (1977)

The Yamaha DT 125 was a popular motorcycle in 1977. It had a two stroke, single cylinder, reed-valve engine with a capacity of 123 cc / 7.5 cu-in and a bore x stroke of 56 50 mm. The bike was air cooled with a compression ratio of 7.2:1 and an autolube lubrication system. The induction was a single 24 mm Mikuni carburettor and the ignition was a magneto. The bike had a kick start and a maximum power of 13 hp / 9.5 kW @ 7000 rpm with a maximum torque of 9.8 lb-ft @ 6,500 rpm. It also had a 6 speed transmission and a chain final drive.
