The Vespa 50 Allungata was a motorcycle produced between 1967 and 1971. It was a two-stroke, single cylinder bike with a 49.8cc capacity and a compression ratio of 7.2:1. It also had a Dell’Orto 14 carburettor, a 6V battery, and kick start. The bike had a multi-plate clutch, an output power of 1.9 kW / 2.6 Hp @ 4500 rpm, and a 3-speed transmission with a direct drive. The frame was made of sheet metal with a welded support and had a hydraulic shock absorber with rubber elements on the front suspension and hydraulic shock absorbers on the rear suspension. The Vespa 50 Allungata had front and rear drum brakes, steel wheels, and 2.75 x 9″ tires on both the front and rear. Its dry weight was 67 kg / 148 lbs, with a fuel capacity of 5.6 L / 1.5 US gal, and had an average fuel consumption of 1.5 L/100 km / 66.7 km/l / 157 US mpg. The top speed of the bike was 40 km/h /29 mph.
