The Velocette K Series motorcycles were produced from 1930 to 1940, featuring three models: KTP, KTS Mk I, and KTS Mk II. The bikes were powered by a 348.4 cc, four-stroke, single-cylinder, OHC engine with a compression ratio of 6.5:1 and a dry sump lubrication system. They had a twist grip-controlled Amal carburetor, acoil ignition in conjunction with Miller, and kick start. KTP had a 3-speed hand-operated transmission, while KTS had a 4-speed foot-operated one. The motorcycles had an open frame with load-bearing motor to form part of the frame for KTP and KTS Mk I, while KTS Mk II had a single cradle frame. The Webb fork with two friction dampers was used for front suspension and for the rear a spring-loaded seat. The front brakes were 7 in diameter drums with internal expansion, while the rear brakes were also 7 in diameter drums with internal expansion. The Velocette motorcycles featured spoked wheels and were available in Black color with gold pin striping. The fuel capacity was 8.5 L / 2.25 US gal, and the dry weight was 133 kg / 294 lbs.
