The Triumph Trophy TR6C (1961) motorcycle had a four-stroke, parallel twin cylinder, overhead valve engine with a displacement of 649cc. It had a compression ratio of 8.5:1 and a bore and stroke of 71 x 82 mm. Valve clearance (cold) was 0.05mm for the inlet and 0.10mm for the exhaust. Its ignition was a Lucas magneto and it had a 1 x 30mm Amal Monobloc carburetor. The clutch was multi-plate and wet and the transmission had four speeds. The final drive was a chain that had 101 links. The front suspension was telescopic forks, while the rear suspension was a swingarm. Both front and rear brakes used drums. Tyres were 3.25-19 on the front and 4.00-18 on the rear. It had a length of 2190 mm, a width of 720 mm, and a wheelbase of 1403 mm. The seat height was 775 mm and its dry weight was 173 kg. The fuel capacity was 18 litres.
