The Triumph TR6 Trophy Desert Sled is a motorcycle that was produced in 1960. It has a four-stroke, parallel twin-cylinder OHV engine with a capacity of 649cc. The piston has a bore of 71 mm and stroke of 82 mm with a compression ratio of 8.5:1. The valve clearance is 0.05mm for the inlet and 0.10mm for the exhaust with timing for the inlet valve opening at 34 degrees BTDC and closing at 55 degrees BTDC. The exhaust valve opens at 48 degrees BTDC and closes at 27 degrees BTDC. It has a 30mm Amal Monobloc carburetor and a Lucas magneto ignition system with a spark plug gap of 0.50mm. The clutch is a wet, multi-plate design with a 4-speed transmission and a final chain drive using 101 links. The suspension consists of telescopic forks at the front and a swing arm at the rear, with drum brakes on both wheels. The front tire is 3.25-19 with a rear tire of 4.00-18. Its dimensions are 2190 mm in length, 720 mm in width, with a wheelbase of 1403 mm and a seat height of 775 mm. It weighs 173 kg and has a fuel capacity of 18 litres.
