Triumph Speed Triple S (2016)

The 2016 Triumph Speed Triple S is a powerful motorcycle with a four stroke, transverse three cylinder engine that has a capacity of 1050 cc. The bike is cooled by a liquid system and has an induction system with multipoint sequential electronic fuel injection. The exhaust system is made of stainless steel and has twin high level stainless steel silencers. The bike has electronic ignition and a maximum power output of 140 hp at 9500 rpm, with maximum torque of 111.9 Nm at 7850 rpm. The clutch is a wet, multi-plate slip assist system, and the transmission has six speeds. The frame is made of aluminum beam twin-spar and has a single-sided swingarm with an eccentric chain adjuster. Suspension consists of 43mm USD forks with adjustable preload, rebound and compression damping at the front, and a Showa monoshock with adjustable preload, rebound and compression damping at the rear. Braking is accomplished with 2x 320mm floating discs, Brembo 4-piston Monobloc radial calipers at the front and a single 255 mm disc at the rear with Nissin 2 piston sliding caliper. The wheels are cast aluminum alloy multi-spoke with the front measuring 17 x 3.5 inches and the rear 17 x 6.0 inches. The dimensions of the bike are as follows: width 780 mm, height 1070 mm, wheelbase 1445 mm, and seat height 825.5 mm. The bike has a dry weight of 192 kg and a fuel capacity of 15.5 L.
