Triumph Speed Triple R (2016)

The Triumph Speed Triple R (2016) motorcycle has a four stroke, transverse three cylinder engine with a capacity of 1050cc. It features liquid cooling, multipoint sequential electronic fuel injection with SAI and a stainless steel 3 into 1 into 2 exhaust with twin high level stainless steel silencers. It has electronic ignition and electric starting. The maximum power output is 104kW / 140hp at 9500rpm and the maximum torque is 111.9Nm / 11.4kgf-m / 82.6ft-lb at 7850rpm. The clutch is a wet, multi-plate slip assist clutch and it has a six-speed transmission. The frame is built with an aluminum beam twin-spar, single-sided swingarm and aluminum alloy with eccentric chain adjuster. The bike has front and rear suspension from Ahlins, with a 43mm NIX30 fully adjustable USD front fork and a TTX36 RSU twin tube monoshock at the rear. The front brakes are twin 320mm floating discs with Brembo 4-piston Monobloc radial calipers, and the rear brake is a single 255mm disc with a Nissin 2 piston sliding caliper. The front wheel is cast aluminum alloy with a multi-spoke design in a size of 17 x 3.5 inches, with a 120/70 ZR17 tire. The rear wheel is also cast aluminum alloy with a multi-spoke design in a size of 17 x 6.0 inches, with a 190/55 ZR17 tire. The bike’s dimensions are a width of 780mm, a height of 1070mm, a wheelbase of 1445mm, and a seat height of 825.5mm. The dry weight of the bike is 192kg and it has a fuel capacity of 15.5 litres / 4.1 US gal / 3.4 Imp gal.
