Triumph Speed Triple R (2016)

The Triumph Speed Triple R model from 2016 is a high-performance motorcycle that is equipped with a four-stroke, transverse three-cylinder engine. It has a capacity of 1050 cc and is liquid-cooled. The bike also includes a multi-point sequential electronic fuel injection system with SAI, and a stainless steel 3 into 1 into 2 exhaust system with twin high-level stainless steel silencers.

The Speed Triple R is capable of a maximum power output of 104 kW/140 hp @ 9500 rpm and produces a maximum torque of 111.9 Nm/11.4 kgf-m/82.6 ft-lb @ 7850 rpm. It has a wet, multi-plate slip assist clutch, and a 6-speed transmission.

The motorcycle has a frame made from aluminum beam twin-spar, a single-sided swingarm, and an aluminum alloy eccentric chain adjuster. It has a 43mm ~Ahlins NIX30 fully adjustable USD front fork and an ~Ahlins TTX36 RSU twin tube monoshock rear suspension both with adjustable preload, rebound, and compression damping.

The front brakes consist of two 320mm floating discs with Brembo 4-piston Monobloc radial calipers, while the rear brake is a single 255mm disc with Nissin 2 piston sliding caliper with ABS. The bike sits on cast aluminum alloy multi-spoke wheels with a 17×3.5 inch front tire and 17×6.0 inch rear tire.

The Triumph Speed Triple R 2016 model also features a rake of 22.9o, a trail of 91.3mm/3.6 inches, a width of 780mm/30.7 inches, a height of 1070mm/42.1 inches, a wheelbase of 1445mm/56.9 inches, a seat height of 825.5mm/ 32.5 inches, a dry weight of 192kg/423lbs, and a fuel capacity of 15.5 Liters/4.1 US gal/3.4 Imp gal.
