The Triumph Daytona 900 Super III, produced in 1993-94, has a liquid-cooled four-stroke, transverse three cylinder engine with a 885cc capacity and a compression ratio of 10.6:1. It has 4 valves per cylinder and is lubricated by a wet sump engine oil system that requires synthetic 10W/40 oil. Maximum power output of the bike is 83.9 kW / 115 hp at 9500 rpm, while the maximum torque generated is 87.30 Nm / 8.3 kgf-m / 64.4 ft.lbs at 6500 rpm. Its ignition system is digital-inductive, using NGK DPR8EA-9 spark plugs. The bike starts electronically and has a hydraulic clutch with a 6-speed transmission and final chain drive. The front suspension comprises of 43 mm forks with triple rate springs that are adjustable for rebound damping and spring preload. Meanwhile, the rear suspension is a monoshock setup that is adjustable for preload and rebound damping. The front brakes include 2 x 310 mm discs with 6 piston calipers, while the rear brakes have a single 255 mm disc with a 2 piston caliper.
