The Triumph Bandit 350SS (T35SS) was a motorcycle produced in 1971. It had a four-stroke, parallel twin engine with a capacity of 349 cc and a compression ratio of 9.5:1. The engine was air-cooled and had two valves per cylinder. The maximum power of the bike was 25 kW / 34 hp at 9000 rpm and the maximum torque was 28.4 Nm / 2.9 kgf-m / 21 lb-ft at 7000 rpm. The bike had a 5-speed transmission and a wet, multi-plate clutch with a final chain drive. The frame was made of tubular steel and had a double cradle design. The front suspension was telescopic while the rear suspension had twin shocks and coil springs. The front and rear brakes were both drum, internal expanding. The Bandit 350SS had a wheelbase of 1489 mm / 58.6 in and a dry weight of 157 kg / 345 lbs, with a fuel capacity of 13.5 L / 3.6 US gal / 3.0 Imp gal. The bike had a top speed of 160 km/h / 100 mph and came equipped with 3.25 x 18 Dunlop K70 front and 3.50 x 18 Dunlop K70 rear tires. The bike had a kick start, but an electric starter was available as an option.
