Triumph America (2017-18)

The Triumph America motorcycle is available from 2017-18 and features a four stroke, parallel twin cylinder engine with a capacity of 865cc. It has a bore x stroke of 90 x 68 mm, an air-cooled cooling system and a compression ratio of 9.2:1. Induction is achieved through multipoint sequential fuel injection with SAI, while lubrication is achieved via a wet sump with synthetic 15W/50 oil. The bike has a maximum power of 45.5 kW and maximum torque of 72 Nm, and features a wet multi plate clutch and 5-speed transmission. The final drive is a chain, X-ring system. The frame is made of tubular steel with a twin-sided, tubular steel swing arm. The front suspension is a 41mm Kayaba telescopic fork with polished stainless-steel shrouds, while the rear features Kayaba chrome spring twin shocks with adjustable preload. The front brake is a single 310mm disc with a Nissin 2 piston floating caliper, while the rear is a single 285mm disc with a Nissin 2 piston floating caliper. The bike has cast aluminum alloy wheels with 12 spokes, and the front wheel is 16 x 3.0 inches while the rear is 15 x 4.0 inches. The front tire is 130/90-16 and the rear is 170/80 B15. The rake is 33.3 degrees, and the trail is 143mm. The bike has a length of 2387mm, a width at handlebars of 920mm, and a height without mirrors of 1175mm. The wheelbase is 1610mm and the seat height is 690mm. The dry weight is 231kg while the wet weight is 250kg. The fuel capacity is 19.3 liters.
