The TM Racing SMR 450 motorcycle was manufactured in 2008 and was equipped with a liquid-cooled, four-stroke, single-cylinder, DOHC, 4 valve engine. With a capacity of 449 cc, it had a bore x stroke of 95 X 63.4 mm and was powered by a Mikuni TDMR 40mm induction. The ignition system used was a Kokusan CDI Electronic with variable advance, and it had both electric and kick starting options. The clutch was multiple-disc in oil-bath with hydraulic control, and its transmission had five speeds in total. The frame was made from Cr-Mo steel Perimetral oval section, with front suspension of 46/48 Kayaba/Paioli USD (optional ~Ahlins) and ~Ahlins mono shock rear suspension. The front brakes were single 320mm disc 4 piston caliper, and the rear brakes were single 240mm disc 1 piston caliper. The motorcycle had a front tyre of 120/70-17 and a rear tyre of 150/70-17. The dry weight was not disclosed, and the fuel capacity was stated to be 8 litres or 2.4 US gallons.
