The Suzuki T 500 M is a motorcycle produced in 1974-75 with a capacity of 492 cc or 30 cu in. It has a two-stroke, parallel two-cylinder engine with a compression ratio of 6.6:1, and is air-cooled. It uses a posi-force lubrication system and has 2 x 32 mm Mikuni carburetors. Its maximum power and torque are 32.8 kW / 44 hp @ 7000 rpm and 50.8 Nm / 5.2 kgf-m / 37.5 lb-ft @6000 rpm, respectively. The motorcycle also has a 5-speed transmission and chain final drive. The frame is a dual dowtube cradle and the suspension consists of telescopic forks in front and dual shock absorbers in the rear. The brakes are drum type and the front and rear tires are 3.00-18 and 3.25-16, respectively. The motorcycle is 2195mm / 86.4 in long, 880mm / 34.7 in wide, and 1105mm / 43.5 in high, with a wheelbase of 1455mm / 57.3 in. It weighs 186kg / 410lbs and has a top speed of approximately 185 km/h / 115 mph.
