Suzuki SV 650 (1999-00)

The Suzuki SV 650N was produced between 1999-2000 and was equipped with a four-stroke, 90-degree V-twin engine with a capacity of 645cc. The engine had a compression ratio of 11.5:1 and produced a maximum power of 53 kW / 72 hp at 9000 rpm and a maximum torque of 64 Nm / 6.53 kg-m / 47.2 lb-ft at 7200 rpm. The motorcycle had a wet sump lubrication system and used synthetic, 10W40 engine oil. Induction was provided by two Mikuni BDSR39 carburetors and ignition was digital transistorized. The motorcycle had a six-speed transmission with chain final drive. The frame was made of aluminum and was a trellis frame design. The suspension was fully adjustable for preload with telescopic, coil spring, oil-damped forks at the front and a link-type, 7-way adjustable spring preload at the rear. The front brakes consisted of two 290mm discs with two-piston calipers while the rear had a single 240mm disc with a two-piston caliper. The motorcycle had a wheelbase of 1420mm with a seat height of 800mm and a wet weight of 196kg. It had a fuel capacity of 17 liters and an average fuel consumption of 4.65 L/100 km or 50.6 US mpg. It had a standing quarter-mile time of 12.1 seconds and a top speed of 205.9 km/h or 127.9 mph.
