Suzuki ST250 (2002-03)

The Suzuki ST250 motorcycle was manufactured for two years, from 2002 to 2003. Its engine is a four stroke, single cylinder, SOHC, with 2 valves and a capacity of 249 cc / 15.2 cu in. The compression ratio is 9.2:1 and it is cooled by air/oil. It has a Mikuni BSR32 carburetor and uses full transistor ignition, with an electric starting mechanism. The maximum power of the bike is 15 kW / 20 hp @ 7500 rpm, with a maximum torque of 22 Nm / 2.2 kgf-m / 16.2 lb-ft @ 6000 rpm. It has a wet, multi-plate clutch and a 5-speed, constant mesh transmission. The final drive is through chain, O-ring. The front brake is a single disc, while the rear brake is a drum. The dimensions of the bike include a length of 2070 mm / 81.0 in, width of 750 mm / 30.0 in and height of 1075 mm / 42.3 in. It has a wheelbase of 1375 mm / 54.1 in and a seat height of 770 mm / 30 mm. The turning radius is 2.4 m / 7.9 ft and it weighs 127 kg / 280lbs when dry. It can hold up to 12 Litres / 3.2 US gal / 2.6 Imp gal of fuel.
