The Suzuki RG 500 Gamma Walter Wolf (1987-88) motorcycle was a two-stroke, square four-cylinder bike with a capacity of 498cc and a compression ratio of 7.0:1. It had a wet sump lubrication system and four 28mm Mikuni VM28SH flatslide carburetors for induction. The maximum power output was 70 kW / 95 hp at 9000 rpm, with a maximum torque of 72 Nm at 9000 rpm. The bike had a six-speed transmission with a chain final drive.
The frame of the Suzuki RG 500 was made of steel, with a double cradle design.
