Suzuki RG 500 Walter Wolf (1987-88)

The Suzuki RG 500 Gamma Walter Wolf (1987-88) motorcycle was a two-stroke, square four-cylinder bike with a capacity of 498cc and a compression ratio of 7.0:1. It had a wet sump lubrication system and four 28mm Mikuni VM28SH flatslide carburetors for induction. The maximum power output was 70 kW / 95 hp at 9000 rpm, with a maximum torque of 72 Nm at 9000 rpm. The bike had a six-speed transmission with a chain final drive.

The frame of the Suzuki RG 500 was made of steel, with a double cradle design. The front suspension was an air-adjustable fork with 38mm tubes and adjustable spring preload, while the rear suspension was a shock absorber with adjustable spring preload. The front brakes consisted of two 260mm discs with four-piston calipers, and the rear brake was a single 210mm disc with a two-piston caliper. The bike had a length of 2100mm, width of 695mm, and height of 1185mm. The wheelbase was 1425mm and the seat height was 770mm with a ground clearance of 120mm.
