The Suzuki GSX 250FX was a motorcycle produced in 2002-03 with a four-stroke, transverse four-cylinder, DOHC engine with 4 valves per cylinder, and a 249cc capacity. It had a compression ratio of 12.5:1 and was liquid-cooled with a wet sump lubrication system. The induction system comprised 4 x 29mm Mikuni carburetors and the ignition was digital, with an electric starting system. The max power output was 29 kW/40 hp at 14,000 rpm, while the max torque was 20.6 Nm/2.1 kgf-m/15.2 lb-ft @ 13000 rpm. The transmission had 6 speed constant mesh gears and the final drive was via a chain. The primary reduction was 3.291 and the final reduction was 3.428. The steel pipe double cradle frame held 38mm telescopic forks at the front and a swinging arm, mono-shock at the rear. The front and rear brakes were single 300 mm and 230 mm discs, respectively. The bike featured a 110/70 -17 54H front tyre and a 140/70 -17 66H rear tyre, and had a rake and trail of 25o and 93mm, respectively. The dimensions were as follows: length 2070 mm, width 735 mm, height 1055 mm, wheelbase 1400 mm, ground clearance 150 mm, and seat height 745 mm. It weighed 151 kg and had a fuel capacity of 14 litres.
