Suzuki GSX-R250 (1987)

The Suzuki GSX-R250 was a motorcycle produced in 1987. It had a four-stroke, transverse four-cylinder, DOHC engine with 4 valves per cylinder and a capacity of 248cc with a bore x stroke of 49 x 33 mm. It had a high compression ratio of 12.5:1 and a liquid cooling system, and was lubricated with a wet sump. It had single carburetor induction and transistor ignition, with an electric starting system. The maximum power output was 33.6 kW/45 hp at 14000 rpm, and a maximum torque of 24 Nm/2.5 kgf-m/17.7 lb-ft at 10500 rpm. The clutch system was wet, multi-plate, and cable operated, and the transmission had six-speeds with a final drive chain. The frame was made with steel twin spars, with telescopic forks for the front suspension and full floater for the rear suspension. The front brakes had 2x300mm discs, two-piston calipers, while the rear had a single 240mm disc with one piston caliper.
