Suzuki GSX-R Special Edition (2014)

The Suzuki GSX-R 1000 Special Edition was produced in 2014 with only 100 units made. Its engine is a four-stroke, transverse four-cylinder DOHC with 4 valves per cylinder and TSCC with a capacity of 998.6cc. The bike has a compression ratio of 12.9:1 and is liquid-cooled with a wet sump lubrication system. The 4 into 2 into 1 stainless steel exhaust is fuel-injected with electronic ignition transistorized starting. Its maximum power output is 136.1kW/182.5hp @ 12,000rpm and its maximum torque is 117Nm/11.9kg fm/86.3 lb.ft @ 10,000rpm. The bike has a 6-speed constant mesh transmission with a chain final drive and a twin-spar aluminium frame with a rake of 24 degrees. The front suspension is inverted telescopic, while the rear suspension is link type with a coil spring and oil damped. The front brakes have two discs with Brembo monobloc 4 piston calipers and the rear brake is a single 220mm disc. The bike has tubeless tyres, and its dimensions are 2045mm in length, 705mm in width, and 1130mm in height. The wheelbase is 1405mm, and the seat height is 810mm. Its wet weight is 203kg, and the fuel capacity is 17.5 litres. The bike can go from 0-100km/h in 2.8 seconds and has a top speed of 299km/h.
