The Suzuki GSX-R Isle of Man Centenary Special motorcycle was introduced in 2007 with a production of only 150 units. It has a four stroke, transverse four cylinder, DOHC engine with a capacity of 998.6 cc and a compression ratio of 12.5:1. The engine is liquid cooled and features a wet sump lubrication system as well as an electronic fuel injection with four 44mm throttle bodies. The bike has a maximum power of 138 kW at 12000 rpm and a maximum torque of 117 Nm at 10000 rpm. It has a 6 speed constant mesh transmission with a final drive of #530 chain. The frame is aluminium twin-spark with a rake of 24 degrees and a trail of 98 mm. The front suspension is inverted telescopic, coil spring, oil damped, and has an adjustable spring preload. The rear suspension is link type, coil spring, gas/oil damped, and also has an adjustable spring preload. The bike has a total weight of 192 kg (423 lbs) and a fuel capacity of 17.5 litres. The fuel consumption is at 5.5 L/100 km and the top speed can reach up to 290 km/h (180.2 mph). It comes in three different colours; blue/white, black/orange, and yellow/silver.
