Suzuki GSX-R 1100L (1990)

The Suzuki GSX-R 1100L is a motorcycle produced in 1990 with a four-stroke, transverse four-cylinder engine that has a capacity of 1127cc. The engine has an air/oil cooling system with two separate oil pumps, a wet sump lubrication, and a 4-into-2-into-1-into-2 stainless steel exhaust system. The bike uses 4 x 36mm Mikuni Flatslide CV carburetors and digital ignition for the motor to start. The Suzuki GSX-R 1100L utilizes a hydraulically operated diaphragm-spring clutch and a five-speed transmission with a chain final drive. The ultra-lightweight aluminum alloy castings give it a twin-downtube arrangement for the frame. The Kayaba fork, cartridge design in the front suspension keeps air and oil separated with 43mm tubes, 8-way adjustable rebound damping, 10-way adjustable compression damping, and fully adjustable preload. The full floater rear suspension has a 7-way adjustable preload, 19-way damping and compression. Braking with the front wheels consists of dual 310mm discs with four-piston calipers, while the rear uses a single disc with two-piston calipers. The bike has a 24.5-degree rake with a 99mm trail and measures 2090mm in length, 754mm in width, and 1235mm in height. The seat height is 810mm, and the dry weight is 210kg, while the wet weight is 240kg. The fuel capacity is 21 litres, and the average consumption is 6.5L/100km. The Suzuki GSX-R 1100L has a top speed of 269km/h and comes in blue/white and black.
