The Suzuki GSX-R 1000 Limited Edition (UK) motorcycle was produced in 2009 and only 100 units were made. It has a four-stroke, transverse four-cylinder engine with a capacity of 998.6cc and a compression ratio of 12.8:1. The engine is liquid-cooled, with synthetic oil and fuel injection, and can reach a maximum power of 136.1kW / 182.5 hp at 12,000rpm and a maximum torque of 117 Nm at 10,000rpm. The transmission is six-speed with constant mesh and the final drive is via chain. The bike has an aluminium twin-spar frame with a rake of 23.9 degrees and an inverted telescopic front suspension and a link-type, coil-spring, oil-damped rear suspension. The front brakes consist of two 310 mm discs with four-piston calipers and the rear brake has a single 220 mm disc. The wheels are made of cast aluminium alloy with three spokes and the front tyre is 120/70 ZR17 M/C (58W) while the rear tyre is 190/50 ZR17 M/C (73W). The wheelbase is 1405 mm and the bike’s dimensions are 2045 mm in length, 720 mm in width, and 1130 mm in height.
