The Suzuki GS250T was a motorcycle produced in 1980, powered by a four-stroke, parallel twin-cylinder engine with a 249 cc capacity and a compression ratio of 12.5:1. Its air-cooled system used carburetors and digital CDI ignition, with a maximum power of 26.8 kW / 36 hp at 14000 rpm, and a maximum torque of 20 Nm / 2.1 kgf-m / 14.8 lb-ft at 13000 rpm. The bike had a six-speed transmission and a chain final drive, with front telescopic forks and a swinging arm rear suspension. Front and rear brakes were a single 300mm disc and single 230mm disc, respectively, with front and rear tires of 110/70-17 and 140/70-17. The dimensions were 2075mm x 885mm x 1155mm, with a wheelbase of 1370mm, a ground clearance of 140mm, and a seat height of 885mm. The dry weight was 158 kg / 348 lbs. The Suzuki GS250T was subject to a comparative test with the Yamaha XS250S and Cagiva SST250 in the 1980 issue of Which Bike magazine.
