The Suzuki DR-Z 250 is a motorcycle produced between 2009 and 2012. It has a four-stroke, single-cylinder engine with a capacity of 249cc and a bore x stroke of 73mm x 59.6mm. The compression ratio is 10.4:1 and it is air/oil cooled with a wet sump lubrication system. It has a Mikuni TM28SS carburetor or a 32mm carburetor in California, a 12V, 4Ah battery, and can be started via electric or kick. The ignition is digital CDI and it has a multi-plate clutch, 6-speed constant mesh transmission, and a final drive chain.
The front suspension has 43mm Showa telescopic forks that are oil-damped and have 12-way adjustable compression and 17-way rebound damping.
