Suzuki released the DR 350S motorcycle model in 1993-94. It boasts a four-stroke, single-cylinder engine with a capacity of 349 cc and a compression ratio of 9.5:1. Its lubrication system is dry sump, and it uses a Mikuni BST33 carburetor for induction. The bike relies on digital CDI for ignition, with starting through kick. Its maximum power is 21.9 kW or 30 hp at 7600 rpm, with a rear tire output of 20.1 kW or 27 hp at the same rate. The DR 350S has a six-speed transmission and relies on a chain for final drive. Its 130 kg frame uses diamond steel, further supported by fully adjustable, link-type rear suspension and cartridge-type, 13-way adjustable compression damping and 17-way adjustable rebound damping in the front. The bike also has a single 250mm disc with a two-piston caliper at the front and single 220mm disc with a single-piston caliper at the rear for braking. It has a 9-litre fuel capacity, 5.5L/100km consumption average, and a top speed of 145.7 km/h or 90.5 mph. Tests show that it can brake from 60 km/h to a stop in 15.1 m or 49.5 ft and has a standing 1/4 mile time of 15.1 seconds at 132km/h or 82 mph. The DR 350S’s road testing is classified as an Enduro Test, according to Tuttomoto.
