The Suzuki DR 200S motorcycle was produced from 1991-1995. It has a four stroke, single cylinder engine with 2 valves per cylinder and a capacity of 198.5 cc. The bore and stroke measure 66 x 58.2 mm and it is air-cooled with a compression ratio of 9.4:1. Induction is through a Mikuni BST31 carburetor and it uses a digital CDI ignition system. Starting is via kick, with a maximum power capacity of 15.5 kW (20 hp) at 8500 rpm and maximum torque of 18.6 Nm (1.9 kgf-m or 13.7 lb-ft) at 7000 rpm. Power is transferred via a 5-speed transmission chain final drive system.
