Suzuki DL V-Storm 1000 (2015-16)

The Suzuki DL 1000 V-Strom is a four stroke, 90 degrees-V-twin, DOHC motorcycle with a capacity of 1037 cc / 63.2 cu-in. It has a liquid-cooled system with a compression ratio of 11.3:1 and a wet sump lubrication. The bike has a Suzuki Fuel Injection induction and electronic ignition starting system. It can produce a maximum power of 73.9 kW / 99.2 hp / @ 8000 rpm and maximum torque of 103 Nm / 10.5 kgf-m / 76 lb-ft @ 4000 rpm. The clutch is wet with multiple discs, hydraulic, and the transmission features six speeds. The motorcycle has a chain final drive with a primary reduction ratio of 1.838 and a final reduction ratio of 2.411.

The frame is made of aluminum, twin spares, and features a front suspension of 40mm Inverted telescopic, coil spring, oil damped. The front wheel travel is 160 mm / 6.3 in, and the rear suspension is link type, coil spring, oil damped, with a rear wheel travel of 160 mm / 6.3 in. The front brakes consist of 2 x 310 mm discs, 4 piston radial calipers, ABS, while the rear brakes include a single 265 mm disc, 2 piston caliper, ABS. The bike has wire spoked wheels with a 110/80R19M/C 59V front tire and a 150/70R17M/C 69V rear tire.

It has a rake of 25.7 degrees and a trail of 109 mm / 4.3 in.
