The Suzuki Boulevard M50 motorcycle was produced from 2008-09 and features a 805cc, four-stroke, 45-degree V-twin engine with a bore x stroke of 83 x 74.4 mm. The bike is liquid-cooled and has a compression ratio of 9.4:1, with lubrication coming from a wet sump. The Mikuni BDSR34 is used for induction and electronic ignition is provided for starting. The maximum power output is 36.5 kW / 50 hp at 6500 RPM and maximum torque is 65 Nm / 6.6 kgf-m / 47.9 ft-lb at 5000 RPM. The clutch system is wet and multiple discs, cable operated, and the transmission has five speeds. The final drive is through a shaft. The suspension system includes an inverted, telescopic, coil spring, oil damped front suspension and a link-type, oil-damped, 7-way adjustable spring preload rear suspension. The front brake is a single 300mm disc with a 2 piston caliper and the rear brake is a drum. The front tyre is 130/90-16 and the rear tyre is 170/80-15. The bike is 2395 mm (94.3 in) long, 890 mm (35.0 in) wide, and 1105 mm (43.5 in) high with a wheelbase of 1655 mm (65.2 in) and a seat height of 700 mm (27.6 in). The wet weight is 269 kg (593 lbs) and ground clearance is 140 mm (5.5 in). The fuel capacity is 15.5 litres (4.1 / 3.4 US/Imp gal).
