Sunbeam Model 1 and Model 2 (1923-30)

The Sunbeam Model 1 and Model 2 were motorcycles produced between 1923 and 1930. These bikes had a single cylinder, side valve engine with a capacity of 347 cc and a bore and stroke of 70 x 90 mm. They were air cooled with a single exhaust and kickstarting. They had a power output of 2.05 kW (2.75 hp) and a 3-speed transmission. The final drive was an enclosed chain. The frame was a single downtube cradle with front suspension provided by Druid forks and rear suspension being rigid with a spring loaded saddle. Both the front and rear brakes were drum brakes. The wheels of the Sunbeam Model 1 and Model 2 were made of steel with laced wire spokes.
