The Sherco 4.5i Enduro was a motorcycle produced between 2007 and 2009. It had a four-stroke, single-cylinder, SOHC engine with a capacity of 448.6cc. The bike was liquid-cooled and had a compression ratio of 12.0:1. It used electronic fuel injection and digital engine management through Magneti Marelli Injection. The bike was started with an electric engine starter. The motorcycle had a hydraulic, multidisc clutch and a six-speed transmission. The Sherco 4.5i Enduro had a frame made from chrome-molybdenum which formed a single structure. The front suspension consisted of an A46 mm Paioli/Kayaba telescopic fork, with a forward offset wheel axle and brake caliper. The rear suspension had a progressive system with single Paioli absorber with aluminum structure that was fully adjustable (four regulation types), linked to the center of the chassis and pushed by the swing arm through an articulated rod system. The front and rear brakes were single discs (270mm and 240mm) respectively, and the bike had a wheelbase of 1485mm. The bike’s dry weight was 109kg and its fuel capacity was 8.5L.
