Royal Enfield Bullet 350 (2011-12)

The Royal Enfield Bullet Classic 500 motorcycle was produced from 2011-12 and features a 499cc engine with a bore x stroke of 84 x 90 mm. The engine is air-cooled and has a compression ratio of 8.5:1. Electronic fuel injection is used for induction and the bike has a 12V electrical system. The ignition is electronic and both electric and kickstarting are available. The maximum power output is 20.3 kW/27.2 hp @ 5200 rpm and max torque is 41.3 Nm/4.2 kgf-m/30.5 lb-ft @ 4000 rpm. The clutch is wet with a multiplate configuration and the bike has a 5-speed constant mesh transmission with chain final drive. The frame is a single downtube with the engine used as a stress member. The front suspension is a telescopic hydraulic damping system with 130mm wheel travel and the rear suspension is twin shocks with gas charging and 5-step adjustable preload with 80mm wheel travel. Front brakes consist of a single 280mm disc with a 2-piston caliper and the rear brakes are drum, 152mm, with single leading shoe internal expanding. The wheels are alloy with laced wire spokes and the front and rear rims are 3.25 x 19 and 3.50 x 19, respectively. The bike has a length of 2180mm, width of 800mm, and height of 1080mm with a wheelbase of 1370mm, ground clearance of 135mm, and seat height of 800mm. The wet weight of the bike is 187kg and the fuel capacity is 14.5 litres/3.8 US gal.
